Despacho Inti Raymi

Inti Raymi is the most important of four ceremonies celebrated in Cusco. The Inti Raymi ("Festival of the Sun") is and has been a ceremony of the Inca Empire in honor of the god Inti, one of the most venerated gods in Inca religion. It really was the celebration of the Winter Solstice. Since 1944, the Inti Raymi has been taking place at Sacsayhuamán (two km. from Cusco) on June 24 of each year. The ceremony indicates the origin of the Incas. It lasts for nine days and is filled with colorful dances and processions.

The Mayan Daykeepers as well as the Qero Incas viewed Dec. 21, 2012 date as a rebirth, the start of the World of the Fifth Sun. This alignment with the heart of the galaxy in 2012 opened a channel for cosmic energy to flow through the earth, cleansing it and all that dwells upon it, raising all to a higher level of vibration. "Change is accelerating now, and it will continue to accelerate." We will rise to a new, higher level in vibration. However since Dec. 21st, there has still been a roller coaster effect on earth. Now, there is again a chance to stabilize and reach a higher vibration and era of peace on earth. The energy of the new sun-- the 5th sun comes to us now. Feel the powerful and beautiful energies!

We are living, according to the Inca's conception of periods, or eras, the Fifth Sun. Each of these suns lasts one thousand year, subdivided, each, in two periods of five hundred years. The point that divides these periods is called Pachacuti - a word that expresses the idea of transformation or global cataclysm. It is believed that there were already nine Pachacuti, and that we are living the number ten, it means, the last.
Here are some suggestions to help people walk in balance through the years ahead.

It’s very important to be clear about who you are, and also about your relation to the Earth.
Develop yourself according to your own tradition and the call of your heart. But remember to respect differences, and strive for unity. Be clear. Follow a tradition with great roots. It is not important what tradition, your heart will tell you, but it must have great roots.

We live in a world of energy. An important task at this time is to learn to sense or see the energy of everyone and everything: people, plants, animals. This becomes increasingly important now in the World of the Fifth Sun, for it is associated with the element ether - the realm where energy lives and weaves.

Go to the sacred places of the earth to pray for peace, and respect for the Earth which gives us our food, clothing, and shelter. We need to reactivate the energy of these sacred places. That is our work.
Cleanse yourself and let go of heavy energies. Bring pure refined light energy - sami into all you do.
Practice ayni- Sacred reciprocity. If you give you will receive and if you receive you must give back. Ayni means proper relationship.Ayni also implies respect for life. Ayni is deeper than mutual respect and helping others, however. It implies the conscious and willing acknowledgment of the interconnection between humans and the natural world that sustains them. The Earth is not just our world, but is shared by all things visible and invisible.
